Thirteen year old Claire Swift is intrigued by Aidan, an Irish boy who is new to her school. Now Claire, like Orpheus descending to the underworld to regain Eurydice, must try to get him back.

About the Author
Robert Dodds grew up in Yorkshire and Kent. He studied English at Oxford University, and then became a teacher in Mexico. He has written short stories for Anthologies, had others read on BBC Radio 4, abridged texts for radio, and written short films for BBC 2, as well as working in stage production. Since 1985 he has lectured in film and TV production at Edinburgh College of Art.

From page one this book transports you into an unnerving world. The author creates a feeling of tension and suspense that makes it impossible to put the book down.

I would recommend it for young teenagers but not those of a nervous disposition.

A great sequel to 'Midnight Clowns'
