2.0 out of 5 stars Bland, simple and nothing new, 17 Feb 2004
The book uses its official title and as so often happens with 'official' publications it is simple and there is nothing different about this book. The information is far from complete as numerous drivers are not included due to failures to be confirmed at the time of going to press. Despite this, a number of drivers had been confirmed who have not been included. The circuit guides are virtually identical to those in previous incarnations of the guide. There is limited analysis and very few speculations the base of the book are facts which are relayed in a style which could be performed by anybody. The highlight of the book is the statistics section at the back of the book and at the time of going to press were probably the most upto date in print although it won't be long until they are no longer relevent and some more are published.
The guide is quite expensive and is not as useful as many specialist magazines, at a third of the price, which have their own, more upto date season previews. There is nothing fundamentally wrong with this, but there is nothing good either.
