The book was VERY out of date. After being unable to find numerous venues, tours etc. We decided to go to the 'Prague Information Office' . The book was viewed with amusement, it was certainly retro. covering a bygone era! Immediately I got back home I sent the book back to the publishers Hachette with a cover letter asking them did they realise what a waste of time it was. I have not received my money back, not even an acknowledgement!

When I first bought this book I thought it was a great summary of the key highlights of Prague.

Unfortunately there seem to be quite a few inaccuracies ito places which no longer exist. The museum of glass apparently closed down in 1997! And there were at least 4 other similar situations. I was really surpised how this book could have been updated in 2003 and still contain these inaccuracies.

What a disappointing purchase.

Updated last in 2000 this book contains some outdated informationparticularly the section regarding visa requirements.
I found this outthe hard way when I bought this book for my wife's birthday, along with asurprise trip to Prague.
Amongst other things the book states that you do not need a visa to travelto Prague on a Canadian passport. However upon checking in at the airporton our departure day we discovered that this is not the case and my wifewas not allowed to travel at that time.
I would recommend to anyone buying this book to check that any importantinformation given is still valid... or buy a more recently updated guide.
