This book is nicely set out with beautiful pictures, and the healing properties of some of the more recently available crystals on the market including starseed quartz, blue quartz, Vera Cruz amethyst, septarian, atlantasite and more. There is a useful chart in the front displaying the 13 major chakras, instead of just the usual 7. The only drawback is that some of the crystals appearance is not described or pictured closely enough for identifying.

I have to be honest I was always quite picky when it came to crystal authors, however this one is pretty good! Judy hall has done a good job with their descriptions also paying attention to some of what some may call, "new age" problems and situations society seem to have these days. The colour photo`s are clear and concise and it even has a few pages at the back describing what some of the terms she uses mean. The only thing I would say is that some of the crystals are not that `new` anymore as this was published a few years ago, but this is to be expected with so many newer varities surfacing all the time. On all in all a worthwhile book for anyone that works with crystals.
