There is an excellent guide available to the Kyrgyz Republic, the Odyssey Guide - available here and listed above, it is now in it's 3rd edition and was published in 2008. The above poster obviously missed it which is a shame as it's far better and more in-depth than Bradt's, which is printed on poor quality paper!

This is the only specific country guide available for Kyrgyzstan. It provides useful information presented in an interesting and very 'readable' format. This book brings together everything you need to know to plan a trip to Kyrgyzstan, so if you want to be able to rely on one source of information only this book is highly recommended.
