If you have experienced Bradt Travelguides before, then you definitely enjoyed the high quality level of information this book series can provide, especially for an independent traveller. That's why, going to Costa Rica, I've immediately bought this book.
Unfortunately the Costa Rica guidebook is an exception in this book series: infos provided are mediocre, incomplete and tin-pot, the same you can get from the internet, as they point only the best known destination.
As an example consider that the biggest national park, La Amistad, is not even mentioned in the guidebook.
