Got this to head out for my first trip to Slovenia this year. It was bang up to date and really useful for all areas of the country. The city section on Ljubljana was spot on, but I also got the Bradt Ljubljana guide too and that was even better if you are just on a short break to the city with loads more info. For longer trips around the country this book is the one.

This book is just out and we are heading off to Slovenia again soon so we snapped it up. I've been before but this guide really makes me want to go again - the pics are cool and the prices are all handily in the euro which Slovenia switched to last year. I like that as well as all the usual history and culture this book also gives you a real flavour for great bars, restaurants and hotels. We loved Slovenia last time and I'm worried we won't want to come back this time!
