4.0 out of 5 stars Red Rowans and Wild Honey, 13 Jun 2004
By Scotias Tippy (St. Andrews, Scotland) - See all my reviews
This second book held me spell bound, as did the first. It opened my mind to the ways of these folk. As a bairn I was warned to stay clear of them, as they stole children. A bigger lie could never have been told. Because of their disshevelled appearance, you were brought up to think they were dirty folk, my mother would call me, a wee tink. if I came in dirty and untidy. I wish she could have read them......my meetings with them would then have been different.

Excellent. Red Rowans continues Betsy's unique story in her inimitable style. Engrossing, enthralling reading from cover to cover. Highly recommended.
