I bought this book not appreciating that it was a driving guide. It attempts to cover a vast area, and is therefore limited in what it can cover in any actual depth. For example, the section on La Garottxa really only contains detailed information for Besalu and Olot. It's a good guide if you are hiring a car, and haven't yet made up your mind where you want to go. It'll give you plenty of ideas. If you've already made your mind up as to where you are going, or intend walking rather than driving, you may find this guide too broad.
