Book Description
Pembrokeshire and its coastline contain some of the most beautiful scenery in Britain - some say the world. Now internationally acclaimed photographer John Cleare turns his sensitive lenses onto the cliffs, crags and beaches of this 'Little England Beyond Wales'.
Cleare's 140 sparkling images show usually unseen aspects of this wonderful and ever-changing landscape and seascape. From the seabird and seal-haunted off-shore islands of Ramsey, Caldey and Skomer, to the granite heights of the Presceli Hills - source of Stonehenge's bluestones - the photographer has sought out the different and the unusual, to make this an intimate and surprising portrait of one of Britain's favourite National Parks.
