I've been doing AS Level maths for about 2 months now and have just bought this book. I would definitely recommend it to anyone else taking the course. It covers topics for every exam board and has a useful guide at the beginning of the book telling you which topics you need to revise for each board. I've found it very useful for explaining problems that I haven't been able to solve with my class textbook, and is definitely indispensable to me!

This book can be useful if you need to quickly find an equation for some work without going through your notes, and the example questions are good. However it really does not explain things overly thoroughly and used a lot of techincal maths jargon that only teachers understand... I do not find this book useful to revise from and as it's supposed to be a "The ultimate revision guide" I can only award it 2 stars, one for the reference uses and one for the example questions...

This assumes you are studying AS maths with the modules they have chosen which was not the case for me. It was not deisigned for my syllabus and as a result I felt it was far too generalised in most aspects.
I didnt not find it very helpful.
