with an introduction and an index.

'Ancient formulae and symbols explained and interpreted for today's world, with simple tables to help apply them and a unique glimpse at the professional use of the `Luo Pan' - the Feng Shui compass.
Practical advice on applying the principles - from choosing a house, to adding subtle details to your existing home, and from creating tranquil outdoor spaces to realizing dreams and aspirations.
Gives an insight into relationships in the office and at home, and suggests ways to improve health, career and friendships, and to create nurturing environments for your loved ones.
Over 600 photographs and illustrations, including floor plans and garden designs, help you make a full Feng Shui survey on your living spaces.'

Interspersed with `boxes' of additional information. e.g.:-

Yin and Yang Plants
Case Studies
Combinations of Materials
Kitchen Clutter
Seating Arrangements
Five Element Features in the Garden

The Flow of Chi in a Living Room

and handy tips, such as:-

'Backs to the Door'
'If you have a visitor who does more than their fair share of the talking, position them with their back to the door to reduce their dominance in the group.
In addition, uninvited guests who you would like to leave as soon as possible should also be placed outside the main group.'

An invaluable reference book that is well laid out, easy to read and almost certain to appeal to anyone with an interest in the subject of Feng Shui.
