1.0 out of 5 stars How to make bad a regular story, 26 Dec 2001
By A Customer
First of all, I have to say that DC ONE MILLION is not a bad history. But this book is one of the worst trade paperbacks I've ever read! Reason: the most of the action takes place in comics not publisehd in this book, so you have the feeling you're not really seeing what's happening. If you want to read the entire story of DC ONE MILLION, buy the comics individually.

1.0 out of 5 stars This book embodies everything that's wrong in modern comics., 6 May 2001
By A Customer
I wish that comic book editors would stop foisting this sort of dribble on the buying public. Not withstanding the poor story line and the frankly pathetic attempts to project "today's" heroes into the 853rd century or whatever. This book is guilty of one of the primary sins of comicdom, it is a blatant attempt to sell the associated series. Thus the majority of action takes place in the regular books (which you cannot find now anyway) and you're left with an unsatisfying collection of segues. This book is the comic equivalent of watching just the, "what happened last episode" sections of a TV miniseries - sure you know what's going on, but why should you care.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great graphic novel for any fan of the dc universe!, 20 Oct 2000

DC one million is an epic tale of love and how long it will last! In the future the heroes we know today will have legacies of wonder and admiration they could never have imagined. The future counterparts of the justice league of america travel back to help (or hinder) the present day jla. Featuring amazing revalations in the lives of batman, superman and hour man this is a must read. Good luck putting it down!

With amazing artwork and storylines that would teach anyone of the value of the comic book genre. Superman is at his finest here and so is the dc production staff!
