5.0 out of 5 stars Manx Murders, 9 Jan 2004
By A M Cawte (Marown, Isle of Man United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
Being an avid reader of true crime and a born a bred manxman I decided to buy this book and found it fascinating. The book itself is well written and has a high level of detail and research information. There are many different cases to read and the style of writing enables you to pick it up as and when enabling you to be immediately immersed again. Some crime writers over complicate the structure which makes you have to back-track but not this one.

For a small Island synonymous with safety and a secure lifestyle this certainly opens the eyes.

A must buy and a great piece of work

5.0 out of 5 stars Isle of Man's Hidden Past, 27 April 2003
By A Customer
i found this book a most interesting read once i started i couldn't put it down. this book was easy to read and easy to follow, the author made the stories come to life as if you were actually there in the time of these murders. With the help of recent events like the TT I was able to relate to the areas to which was describe excellantly. if you are a fan of the TT or even the Isle of Man i would thourghly recommend this book as an excellant guide to the mysterious past that has been hidden in the Isle of man for many years.
