Product Description
Synopsis
"Still Talking Blue" is a collection of interviews that should inform supporters of everything they wanted to know about Everton greats such as Dave Hickson, Bob Latchford and Trevor Steven. It uses questions submitted by the fans. Collated via the Internet, disenfranchised Evertonions scattered across the globe proudly recall bygone events and trivia. From Iceland to South Africa, Australia to Israel, long-suffering Blues are finally given the opportunity to ask questions of their heroes - and they do so with panache. Spanning the decades from the 1950s, when shorts were long and Dave Hickson's quiff was the envy of Hollywood, right through to Dave Watson's final days at the club in 2001, "Still Talking Blue" shoots from the hip and leaves no question unasked.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb, 7 Sep 2002

I can't speak highly enough of this book. It is a must for any Evertonian, the players interviewed give frank and honest answers to the questions asked making it informative and entertaining. If you want to know how Mark Higgins felt about being allowed to leave the club or how Barry Horne feels about being compared to Eric Cantona then buy it now.
