I couldn't recommend this book highly enough, I'd give it more than 5 stars if I could!! I bought this book for my baby boy (and for me!) for a bedtime story, it's a beautiful book, the pages are embossed which adds depth and feel to the excellent illustrations and has made me now look for other books illustrated by Maggie Kneen. The story is a lyrical retelling which makes for a really lovely flow as you read the book. My son is far too young to understand it, but I absolutely love reading it... if it doesn't become one of his favorites, it will definitely be one of mine and a book that I'll keep myself when he grows out of it.
