Product Description
Synopsis
Glass is one of the most popular collecting areas for enthusiasts and the range of antique glassware available is tremendous. Miller's Collecting Glass: The Facts At Your Fingertips concentrates on glass for the table and examines the key collecting areas from the 16th to the first half of the 20th century. Items are divided by type of object and then geographically, covering the United Kingdom, Ireland, continental Europe and the USA. Key features of different periods, manufacturers and techniques are examined. Throughout, fact boxes present tips and information on what to look for, how to assess condition and value and how to spot fakes. Important information is given on collecting trends and each item has a price range.
