Another excellent guide in the condensed series. Just the right amount of material for a short stay - although it would have been just as useful for a longer visit. The maps are excellent and the suggestions of things to do and places to see are spot on. Really useful practical information too.
I'm so impressed with the condensed guides I will be looking for one for every city I visit.

I found this little book quite invaluable when on a short visit to Bangkok. It's full of useful tourist information, and the fold-out maps are easy to use. If you're in Bangkok for a long period of time, or are visting the rest of the country, I'd probably recommend the full Thailand guide, however for a city highlights trip to include most of the major attractions and how to get there, you can't go far wrong with this. It's also a lot easier to carry around in a back pocket or rucksack than the relatively heavy full Thailand guide.
