4.0 out of 5 stars Worth it!, 30 Aug 2002
By Ms Duffy (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
It was worth having both the Guatemala Lonely Planet Book and the Rough Guide as reference as both covered different points. The Lonely Plant was excellent for accomadation and travel and the Rough Guide was great for information on a particular place. It was great having the Guatemala Lonely Plant book which also covered Yucatan and Belsize which was ideal for our trip. Well done Lonely Planet on a wonderful guide to such an interesting part of Central America. Worth it!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Wrong edition, 30 Jul 2005
I would like to notify all potential customers that this book is actually printed on March 2001, although the product information (shown in amazon at my date of purchase) was clearly stated as January 2005.

Always buy the latest edition of available guide books, as they will serve you better during your traveling.

Lonely Planet books are for the curious and independent-minded travelers. Always recommended!

1.0 out of 5 stars Out of date addition, 24 Mar 2006
By Simon Tarbett (London United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
The addition I received was 2001, that's 5 years out of date, meaning as a guide book it's essentially useless!
