3.0 out of 5 stars Sweden covered, but lacks depth, 3 Dec 2001
By A Customer
Finally Sweden has been included in the Lonely Planet family of travelling books. Not the cheapest country or the first you think of when someone says back-packing. This is the first edition and it is easy to tell with numerous spelling misstakes and missing facts. Sure Sweden is quite expensive, but why recommend McDonalds in every city, there are other inexpensive and really good restaurants in this country. A brief chapter covers walking and hiking in Sweden, but there are so much more than that to be said about the subject. So who should buy this guide? It is good when it comes to covering travelling within Sweden between small cities and some of the top attractions, but lacks depth.

4.0 out of 5 stars From Stockholm to Gothenburg, this books got it covered!, 16 May 2001
By A Customer
This, another welcome addition to the lonely planet range has got all the main attractions covered. With loads of information on the capital and beyond into the countryside LP Sweden is an essential book to pack. Contains many in depth maps and activity guides with clear information on transport around the country. This book helps you find out and experience all that Sweden has to offer.
