This book is an absolute treasure! I received the whole set for my birthday this morning and from 9am to 5pm I did not put this book down!
I've now finish the first and am half way through the second book. If you love dragons and want to read a dragon book, get this whole set!

I have already recommended these to my friends.. If you're contemplating buying this book, stop thinking, buy it and enjoy a thoroughly good story!

A young dragonet Auron, becomes Champion of the Clutch. He is a scaleless grey and has two sisters, but one day a band of murderous dwarves and eleves slay their mother and Auron flees with his sister. Then they are forced to split up and thus begins Aurons' adventures to becoming a dragon, from his first flight to his mating. He will meet many allies and make many enemies as he searches for the black dragon to discover the weakness of dragons and also to find out who killed his family and to avenge them. A wonderfull book, beautifully described and with great style. Mr Knight writres with a great hand and this is a must read for all dragan fans and fantasy lovers. I could not put this book down, it was gripping and a real page turner.

From page one where it describes the opening of the egg to the final page i felt i was Auron.....if you must read a dragon book it must be this one....Great
