Product Description

Synopsis

Roy Hession was a 20th century British evangelist and author. His post World War II work is well known especially among young people. In 1950 Roy and his wife Revel published their first book The Calvary Road. The nature of religious revival is discussed as well as the prerequisites and consequences of the activity of God in the heart of man. According to Hession, man can learn how Jesus can fill you with His Spirit through brokenness, repentance and confession.

5.0 out of 5 stars Real Christianity, 4 Aug 2000
By A Customer
"Calvary Road" is THE antidote to the Churches obsession with gain. The author clearly outlines the attitudes and goals that led the Son of God to submit completely to the Fathers will. A real challenge to the way of life most churches teach. This book will change your life. It has mine.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Calvary Road, 12 May 2009

(REAL NAME)
This small book is dynamite, It was recommended to me many years ago by a member of my family who was a friend of Roy Hession, it was a powerful read then and still is today, I would go as far to say that of all the books written on this subject over the years, The Calvary Road by far exceeds them.
