If you remember, and enjoyed, the Transformers universe book from back in the 80's, you'll love this. It's basically the same, only much better artwork, more detailed info on the characters, and way more transformers (all of them, I think) are included. Each robot gets a page (or more), with moto, character, skills and weaknesses discussed.

Note though, that this book is only part one of two volumes and covers transformers from A to P (vol. 2 picks up the rest).

Basically, it's a very enjoyable read, and a great companion to the transformer comics (IDW or otherwise). Essential!
