"How to Defeat the Tobacco Demon the New Way" is a revolutionary and completely different stop smoking plan which bases its success on a recognised scientific principal - the effectiveness and value of achieving success through series of increasingly challenging short term, achievable goals. This is very different from going cold turkey, and hoping never to smoke again. How this actually works is by following a rhythmically structured pattern of short periods of nicotine abstinence which gradually increase in duration, until complete freedom from the addiction comes about naturally. This process typically last for about two months, at the end of which the Tobacco Demon is finally defeated for good.

About the Author
Emil Stephen was born in 1937 on the shores of the Pacific Ocean in Sydney, Australia. He fell in love with the Mediterranean in his twenties and settled in Rome where he worked as a teacher until moving to London in 1977, first teaching again for several years and now working as an Italian interpreter and translator. His interests include cooking, gardening, translating and since 2001 struggling to learn the cello. His 30 year life and death battle with and eventual victory over the Tobacco Demon has inspired this book.
