A twenty-five year career of teaching science in high school followed. During her teaching career, Martha was awarded Teacher of the Year for Northeast Mississippi.

The author stays busy with speaking engagements in churches, organizations, and ladies' conferences encouraging others: "DON'T GIVE UP! KEEP GOING!"

She also is the author of "THE BINDING PLACE", a Christian novel.

Martha and her husband Ray live in Blue Mountain, Mississippi where they enjoy their family.
