This book is a lot of fun, very sexy and surprisingly sweet. The setting is a space ship which is owned by its crew ("The Syndicate" of the title). Allard is a computer geek who joins the crew on a short-term contract and who finds himself starting a romance with Vaughn, who is the defacto Captain of the vessel. The characters are all drawn with subtlety and humour, from Allard and Vaughn to their voyeristic and sex-obsessed colleagues and the sex scenes are well-written and erotic. The thing that surprised me about this book was that it is sweetly romantic as well as erotic. I found myself caring about the characters and their relationship and I'd love to read more about their further adventures.

I can only echo what the other reviewer has said about this book. It's very funny, tantalising, tililating and sweet and no matter what your sexuality you'll find something in this book for you. I first read these volumes as ebooks and kept my fingers crossed they would appear in print. I couldn't believe it when my wish was answered. Now I have my fingers crossed for the 3rd volume and there is also a shorter work out there for this and I have heard another one in the making. I just hope they also appear in print form so I can add it to my book shelf and maybe even give a couple away as gifts. They are simply so much fun you'll remember these great characters and a really sweet and funny love story for many years to come.
