Product Description

Synopsis
The story starts with a young girl trying to find an "Alichino," a creature of legend which is supposed to be able to grant any wish a human can think of. Her brother had earlier gone to find an Alichino, and found one. However, he returned home almost dead-basically soulless. Thinking that his condition had something to do with the Alichino, the girl went out in search of one. She finds a young boy named Tsugiri under a tree, and initially mistakes him for an Alichino. Tsugiri tells her he's an ordinary human, and says she's better off staying by her brother's side instead of wandering in search of Alichino. The girl goes home and finds her brother dead, and the sorrow and pain she feels calls an Alichino to her. What she doesn't know is that Alichino "hunt" for humans with weak wills. The Alichino tell the humans they can grant any wish - but at a price. The humans usually end up making a wish so huge that it costs their very soul. Tsugiri goes and saves the girl from the Alichino which is after her. This young boy hates Alichino, but he lives with a young female Alichino named Myobi, who usually takes the form of an owl, and Enju, her close friend.

Myobi also has a "master" named Ryoko, a powerful young man who had saved Tsugiri from being killed by an Alichino when he was younger. It turns out that Tsugiri has the power of "kusabi," and only people with that power can completely kill an Alichino.
