This brilliant book explains how the toxins we accumulate in our body due to our Western lifestyle are causing disease and that the key to health is to detox! Daniel Reid is a genius! This book should be compulsory reading for every single health practitioner in the world! PLEASE read this book!

I've always had the latest revision of Daniels "Tao of Heath, Sex, and Longevity" to hand. It's served as both educational and a great reference. This book in my opinion is a great follow-up, taking a core subject and expanding it. For anyone looking to take the subject of healthy living seriously it's a must. It has a nice mixture of Eastern Approach and Western Science (for the sceptics).

This is likely to be another constant source of reference for me, destined to be well thumbed for a long time to come. Thanks again for another fine book Daniel.

If i could recommend one book for people who want to learn more about taking care of their own health and wellbeing it would be this. I have been practising what this book teaches for a number of years now, by doing a yearly detox, and this book has been my reference whilst going through the process everytime. Daniel Reid is a well known expert in the field of healthy living and lifestyles as his other best selling books can testify, so what is explained is reliable information.
Like the previous reviewer said, 5 out of 5 is not enough, this book is life changing and if you apply what Daniel Reid teaches in this book you life will literally change, and you will learn the meaning of preventative medicine.
