4.0 out of 5 stars Thoughtful, 5 Nov 2008

This is an amazing and inspiring book. Norris is a thoughtful and intelligent writer who explores her topic with grace and precision. Her meditation on acedia and its role in our contemporary culture is thought provoking. Reading the book changed my perceptions about how best to live.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone. While it may appear to be aimed at those with spiritual leanings, the subject addressed in this book is universal.
