5.0 out of 5 stars Makes a great present, 2 April 2003
What all factual historical text books should be like! Interesting illustrations combined with confident flowing prose. All presented in a neat and consise manner.
What was of particular interest to me was the places to visit at the back. My child read some of the book and then preceded to demand an expensive visit to Conwy Castle. Better than demanding a trip to Alton Towers, I'm sure!
