A Great Read

Lyrical, almost poetic.
Simple and sensitive.
Interesting, absorbing.

Pleasant and enjoyable for anyone, compulsive, entertaining, amusing for any Longford person, exciting, riveting, memorable, for man, woman or child, from Drumlish.

A wonderful historical record of the forties, fifties and sixties in the rural midlands of Ireland.

A great record of the discipline and innocence of that era
