5.0 out of 5 stars It worked for me!, 28 Dec 2002
By A Customer
I bought one book before doing the Java Developer Certification and this was it. I got 149 out of a possible 155 marks.
Be under no illusion, this book does not tell you exactly what to do in the exam, it shows all of the areas that need researching and gives subtle hints into particular areas of interest.

Max Habibi helps many would be certified developers on www.javaranch.com and his advice is always well received.

I highly recommend the book but the only negative side is that in doing the actual exam, avoid using regular expressions as it is not allowed in the exam (at this point in time). The examples in the book do use them however.
Also, pay head to the small detail, packaging, comments, documentation etc. They all count.
