brilliant! i rate all of pema chodrons audio lectures and would say this one might be the best.
the boddhisattvas way of life by shantidava is interpreted in a way that is clear for westerners. it has cleared up some points that before hearing this i could not understand or accept.
unlike some audio books it kept me gripped as if i were at the lecture myself.
if you want to learn about causes of anger and how to overcome it this is very helpful even if you are new to buddhism

I had already read the Santideva book on which these tapes are based, and I wondered whether this reading might offer me something that I missed when I read the book. It did indeed. I would recommend this set to anyone who has waded through the dense theoretical works of Nagarjuna and Candrakirti. Chodron's exposition is warm, friendly, clear, and very much to the point.

This is a must listen to for anybody. It puts our anger and the causes of our anger into perspective. Pema Chodron has a real talent in explaining Buddhist teachings to a western audience.Which she does with humour and grace.
