Product Description
Book Description
Whilst up to mischief in the local park, James Baggit and his gang stumble across a derelict old theatre. Amongst the theatrical props, they discover a treasure chest containing an old pirate coat. Stuck in the lining of one of its pockets, James finds a magic ring.
The ring gives him wonderful storytelling powers that bring the characters in his stories to life. Ghosts and pirates magically appear at the most inopportune moments, causing all sorts of mayhem.
The ring leads James and his friends in search of buried treasure and whilst stranded on an island, his younger brother is kidnapped by Mad Pete, a bloodthirsty pirate of the most fearsome kind.
To make matters worse, James and his gang are pursued relentlessly by Mr Fiddling, the school caretaker and his nephew Groucho Gribbling, the school bully, who are out to snatch the ring at every opportunity.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Book review, 17 Dec 2003
By James Smith (Hornsea, East Yorkshire United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
I like your book because it is very funny and the way you write it is brilliant. The best chapter is Who Wants to be A MIllionaire because Chris Tarrant was just about to give us the answer and then said it is time for the brake. The second favorite is Tom Tom the Pirates Come stole our Sam and away they Run because you could actully imagon being on an island with Mad Pirate Pete and the soldiers. Before that we were on the ship and you told the story of Robinson Cruso with the ring and how he got it. My thrid favorite was Millies Magnificent Masterplan where they got the ring back from Groucho Gribbling by swapping the magic ring for a a phoney one. Thank you for making the book I have really enjoyed it, from James Smith
