I ordered this book for my husband as a gift but it only refers to American fishing techniques - no good to him as we live in France. There was no mention on the information that it was specifically for the american market - especially as I ordered it from Amazon UK. He has had a good look through the book and no doubt it contains excellent tips for fishermen in the US but unless you live across the pond with a long rod and line don't order this book.
