1.0 out of 5 stars Werewolf the apocalypse live, 14 May 2001
By A Customer
This book, in short, gives all the backround and rules needed in order to run or play in a minds eye theatre game as a garou.

The book is an entire rules book for playing the LARP (Live Action Role-Play) version of werewolf tha apocalype, with rules which are compatable with other minds eye systems.

Werewolf lends itself well to a live event, since all the characters have a driving purpose, a war to fight, a goal which lends coherancy to the game and was missing in the other world of darkness games. This allows players to band together against a common foe, which provides entertaining games. The game also has a large fan base with several national (british) associations of games, with one in most counties, which allows you to find fellow players readily and easily.

That said, the organisation of the book does mean that it can be difficult at times to find the information you need, but this problem does fall off when you have got to know the book (trust me you will).

In conclusion, this book is essential if you plan to play or run werewolf live (not essential like it makes the game better, but essential in that it IS the game, rules and background).

Trust me. Buy it. Play it. You'll love it.
