I loved this book. It is beautifully presented with excellent artwork. Look for the continuity in the artwork for the chapter dividers and the Clan pictures. Skills have been slightly reworked as have some of the disciplines and all in all most of these changes make sense.

The major differences from the last edition are that this book contains a much richer and more detailed background; which makes the book far more satisfying.
Roads have also been completely changed and boy is it an improvement! At last, there is a fuller range of choices each with layers of subtlety. The variety of flavours and outlooks within each road only serve to enhance the entire concept.

Another real improvement is the index. Finally White Wolf seem to be getting the hang of actually making an index which is of use. I know this is a bit hard to believe but trust me it is true at times during your game it will actually save you heaps of time to look at the index - I suppose it had to happen one day!

Overall, I love it - the system changes are great, the look is beautiful and it's full of tiny details that make it fantastic. The only real problem is that the box for experience points on the Character sheet has a dark background so you'll have to record your XP elsewhere!
