4.0 out of 5 stars The First of Many, 7 May 2003
Sword & Sorcery have now released the largest City on the Continent of Antonica. Rich with details of locations and NPC's this is another must buy product for on and offline gamers. It also covers the areas of the Commonlands, The Ocean of Tears and North Ro. This book give a good deal of background information to those who have walked through the game online but have always wondered why things were so. As a source book for the Everquest Roleplay system it is the start of the detail's of a whole world. The only reason I gave this product a 4 star rating was the absence of an Index page and a few typo's here and there but altogether a good product and well worth buying.

4.0 out of 5 stars Freeport Comes Alive, 30 April 2003

A superb view of Everquest`s largest city that is a `must have` for paper & pencil gamers in the EQ universe as well as being very handy for the computerised version. You get a comprehensive overview of what life is like in this vibrant gaming city from so many angles as diverse as the Paladins of Marr through to the Corrupt City Guards and even the Necromancers hidden below the streets in the sewers.

Lavishly illustrated throughout, this book is a must have for all EQ fans everywhere.

4.0 out of 5 stars City of Freeport, 11 May 2003

Well presented, with a great deal of thought gone in to outlining the difference between the online world and the richness and depth found in the p&p world (Wizards of the coast take note, this is how a fanstasy p&p game should be presented, yes yes I know they used their system but that's where the simularity ends). A worth while supplement providing both an interesting read and very useful source info for Eq GM's. A shame that all the artwork is in black and white but not a amjor issue. If you enjoy p&p roleplaying in the EQ world then Freeport is probably where most of you cut your teeth in the online variation so defintely a must have.
