I found this book extremely useful when trying to decide if I should put my mare in foal or not. I found it informatitve, without being either patronising or too scientific.

I liked the section on choosing a stallion.

I would recommend this to any novice breeder but would also be useful to an experienced person too

I used this book not really for its intended purpose - i was doing a dissertation at college on horse breeding and out of all the refrence material i used, i found this to be most helpfull it was easy to read and understand.
