5.0 out of 5 stars From the mind of the 'Sea Wolf', 11 Oct 2001
By A Customer
A wonderful insight into the mind of the man who was arguably the best frigate captain in Nelson's navy.
This is the real autobiography, written during his retirement. Cochrane allows you to share his thoughts, strategies, fears and his anger at what he feels was a corrupt establishment.
When you read this you will realise why Cochrane has been the inspiration for the characters of so many fictional, Napoleonic, naval heroes.
