This is an excellent book if you live in the States, but as it is on an English web site I expected it to be, at least in part, about English markets. It isn't.

Please note this has now been superseded by the 2005 edition - see "Children's Writer's and Illustrator's Market Alice Pope (Editor)" ISBN: 1582972737. Note also, that the subject matter is almost exclusively US and Canadian markets.

Which does not, of course, mean that the book is of no practical use. Please take a look at my review of the 2005 edition for an explanation of its value to UK writers and illustrators.
