This book is a must for any colour pencil artist who wishes to draw their pets, very informative with easy to follow stage by stage demonstrations. The only drawback is the author uses Prismacolor Pencils for all her demos. If you want to follow her I feel you also have to use Prismacolor pencils and they are hard to find in the UK.

What a brilliant book. If you're starting out with pet portraits this is the book for you. The instructions are comprehensive, the exercises easy to follow and if you're not a reasonable artist by the end it's through no fault of the book! My only sadness is, that the author herself wasn't there to review my work!
