Despite the book's outrageous price, this is an absolute must for Eric Fischl enthusiasts, brimming with luscious illustrations covering 30 years of the artist's production. The reproductions are very good quality and you can really appreciate Fischl's amazing gestural brushstrokes, the way they sit above his atmospheric surfaces. His work evolves from the early focus on the perversions of suburbia to the more current focus on life in the contemporary art world. Beautiful, beautiful book.
