It makes such a pleasant change to read a Pagan book that actually says something new! Galenorn's book is down-to-earth, eminently sensible, sensitive and needed. For a supposedly earth-based and body-positive spiritual tradition, this kind of material is terrifyingly thin on the ground. From food & fitness to body modification, "Crafting The Body Divine" is a book that should be on the shelf of every (particularly female) pagan. While I didn't agree with every part of the book, I very much enjoyed reading it. Thoroughly recommended.

From the title and what I'd read about it, I got the impression there was a lot in the book related to piercing and tattoos, but upon receiving it, I found this was not the case (though they are mentioned).
It wasn't clear that this book was really for women. Although some men may enjoy it too, I bought it for my boyfriend and when he discovered the main topics were leg waxing and bikini lines he was a little disappointed. Not his thing really.

I don't want to knock it as a good read - it's perfectly good - I just want to warn others who may also misunderstand the content.
