3.0 out of 5 stars Useful for the American "Professional Paper maker", 19 Jan 2001
By A Customer
This book is well laid out and provides a lot of information for those who are wanting to make paper in bulk. It also has good illustrations but some of the instructions, for instance on how to make the frames to catch pulp, left me unsure on how to complete the task. Some of the language was unclear and some of the products and equipment used did not seem to have anything equivalent to it in England, and seemed fairly environmentally unfriendly. The tables of plants were well laid out and the idea of recording plant materials gathered appealed to me. And although I have made paper from recycled paper and knew some of the techniques, I was left out of my depth.
