This is the kind of book that made me want to drop everything and go travelling (or eating my way!) through Spain. It's beautifully produced, and starts with an informative culinary history of the country. The recipes are very good. I've tried several, and they've all been big hits. The Hake Fillets and Clams with Salsa Verde is sublime. A book definitely worth having.

I am an spanish. I bought this book for a present to an english friend. But I had to buy one for me. It's a wonderfull book of spanish cuisine. The book is pretty. Full of enchanting photos. The quality of paper and book design is expectacular. The recipes are the things you eat at home, at the street's bar or at the best of the restaurant. The explanations of the recipes are superb. And the introductory information about regional cuisine and its history is accurate and interesting.
