5.0 out of 5 stars Be pleasantly surprised by this jam-packed book, 31 Jul 2002
What a great book! I don't know what I was expecting, but I found a rich compendium of resources and ideas for aspiring travellers. It has nice mix of formal and informal (personal) information from the author's experience. And it's good read too!

I've been dipping in at various points and forming a picture that way. It works. Busy readers who don't want to read novel-style travel writings to get into the global mood will find this a good way to the metaphorical departure lounge. If you're lucky enough to get this as a present, as I did, you can expect to be informed, encouraged, enabled by this book.
