A pentagonal hat? Will it look nice? And what about a hat shaped like a Russian onion-domed church? All these and more are in Zilboorg's delightful book of hat knitting patterns. The colors are magnificent and the patterns make very fetching gifts for anyone. The hats are surprisingly good-looking when worn. My favorite is the pentagon, but the tam is also nice. Highly recommended for any knitter.

THIS BOOK IS A BIT MUCH FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR BASIC PATTERNS. HOWEVER, FOR DESIGNS OUT OF THE ORDINARY, THIS BOOK IS A MUST HAVE.

When I'm not using this book to knit one of Anna's delightfulhats, I'm using it for inspiration, or for just the sheer pleasure I get from looking at the pictures over and over again. This book and her other book "Fancy Feet" are never far from my reach. Her books are addictive and and I can't wait to see what she comes up with next. She is truly and antist! If Anna has a fan club, I want to join. Sharon
