Its a nice book as far as it goes, which is not all that far. It does get a little repetative because although cleaning problems are listed out in a catalogue format, cleaning solutions seem to be a bit limited in variety and so it gets a little repetative. It is on my book shelf right now but I've very seldom needed to refer to it. Perhaps those who have someone else clean and now want to do the job themselves might get more out of it that someone who has had to learn through experience. I think there are more interesting reads when it comes to cleaning and also the American flavor of the book is noticeable to European readers and can be a little offputting. Big print and so not a very long read for the size of the book. Check out a copy before you buy because it could be its what you want after all, I certainly dont suggest people reject it out of hand, just see what you are getting before parting with your cash to avoid disappointment

Move over, fairy godmother. The magic wand for that dreaded task--housekeeping--has arrived. I love this book! You have to buy it! It's the best gift for a friend getting a new apartment or house, or someone who's getting married. I even bought it for my mother and my grandmother, they wish there was a book like this years ago.

Who knew the best way to clean your toilet was to put some cola soda in it, or the best way to improve your bowling game is to wash your bowling ball in the dishwasher. My favorite tip is to keep your diamonds sparkling, you should soak them in vodka. It really works!

This is so cool, because the book also gives you quickie tips incase you are having company over. This is my favorite book of the century!

You'll save yourself a ton of money on expensive cleaning products too.

Everything you need to know about cleaning just about everything in your home. I could not believe the amout of information packed in this book. Love the book but I still hate cleaning.
