This book is a waste of time & money. It does not have every command. It even omits the really useful commands which we use every day. The Cisco CD ROM of website is far more useful, and thats free!!!

Excellent reference for Cisco IOS commands. If you are looking for an "Intro to Cisco config", then this isn't the book. If you are looking for a reference that explains every command in great detail, then this is the book for you. Sure this info is available on their website (with much searching), but with this book, you can lookup any command in seconds and find out the syntax, default, command mode, usage guidelines and examples very quickly.
